Books....

I love books.
Seriously, I do. Mainly, I love fiction but I also love Christian Help (can't think of another word for them) and biographies. I always have great ambitions when it comes to reading. I hear good reviews from friends or suggestions from pastors, then I go buy or borrow the book. The only problem is I don't get through them. Well, the fiction, I almost always finish in a week. It's the ones that could really benefit my life and relationships. Those I'll read six or so chapters and then get distracted with something else.
Day 35
For instance, these books have set on my night stand for 2 years, 6 months, and 2 1/2 years. I've gotten through exactly 2 chapters, 3 chapters, and 6 chapters of each of them. This drives me crazy about myself. So I'm going to finish these three books first before I read any others this year (which obviously doesn't count Goodnight Moon, Froggy Goes to School or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse books).

To keep me accountable, I'm going EVENTUALLY do a post on what I learned from each of them. I'm going to start with (or finish) The Four Seasons of Marriage first.

After these three, here is my list for this year:
Radical, David Platt
The Help, Kathryn Stockett
Re-reading all the books from the Little House on the Prairie, Laura Ingalls Wikder
Give Them Grace, Elyse Fitzpatrick
Mark of the Lion series, Francine Rivers
Black Heels to Tractor Wheels, Ree Drumond
From The Heart, June Carter Cash
Her Daughter's Dream, Francine Rivers
One Thousand Gifts, Ann Voskamp

I'm sure I'll add more, but definitely might not get to them. : )
Anybody have one I have to add to the list?

Crazy Love is so great! The last half of the book is the best!

If you end up liking Crazy Love, you'd also like The Forgotten God by Francis Chan. It's great!
