Well, the following TWO craft ideas have convinced me I do!
CRAFT #1
Do you have sea shells from your beach trip last year that you don't know what to do with?
What about the party hat from your child's first birthay?
And that silly little blankie that they carried with them for soo many years?
I understand your dilemma. I want to hold onto everything, but have no place for the precious pieces of memories.
Well, Martha has got it covered by introducing us all to Darcy Miller!

What a sweet idea to capture a families memories. Especially, to keep the items that are too big to go into the family scrapbook. I'm sold, where do I sign up!
I'm pretty sure these would look amazing going up the wall that follows our stairs up to what will be our master bedroom. Hmm... yes, i think they'd look great!
CRAFT #2
I found a new blog that shares my crafty heart!
They share patterns and ideas for sewing, embroidering, crocheting, and knitting. They display the cutest projects and designs. I want to try soo many of them. hmm...I can hear my mother now saying how I do not need another PROJECT. I think I could start maybe one more! : )
Maybe one of the two following ones. I so need to learn how to hand embroider!

Love, love, love the ballerina shoes idea! Will put that one to use after Addison wraps up this first year of dance!
so neat! i did a shadowbox thing with the roses that patrick got me. i kept drying and keeping all of them, I finally got a shadowbox, covered the back w/cool paper, cut a heart shape from styrophome and then stuck the heads of each rose into the styrophome to make a heart of roses! it's hanging in our dining room and I love it!
I am all about the scrapboxes...you name the date!!!
oh my gosh. I just shared that magpie link with Michelle. She learned to do hand embroidery over Christmas & has been rocking it out ever since. You should go look at her facebook album with some of her work if you haven't seen it yet. I'm trying to get her to teach me while she's here!!!! It's so adorable!
